I'm new to Gear (and PC-DMIS, to be honest). Running 2.6 Gear and 2015.1 PC-DMIS. I have both internal and external "go gages" that need to be ran in Gear for calibration. I have no problems aligning the external ones, but can't get a single internal gage aligned. When it switches to DCC, it always goes into the root of the tooth instead of the ID, even though . Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Hi TroubleSlone, i use the pcdmis gear 2.4 with pcdmis 2015 and it's a constant headache..LOL..
the alignment which use in the main program to measure the gears it's a external alignment, so check the date the file in order to verify if all is right according to the last alignment done.
in the other hand another mistake i detected it's that sometimes when you are building the "gear program" through the gear module, the comma and the points in some features are exchanged, maybe it's due to my regional setting in my pc.
in your case i think that you have something wrong in the external alignment, maybe you are using another file which isn't right
