Deviation between 2 diameters

I have a toolmaker wanting to know a tube thickness by measuring an ID and an OD at the same depth however I've never reported this kind of dimension before. Is there a way to report the deviation between these 2 diameters so I can report the part thickness at the depth being requested?

Create an origin at the center of the tube diameters, measure a point on the inside of the tube and then the outside of the tube at the same polar angle and the same height. Report the 2D distance between the inside and outside points.
