Guru's - what would be the best method to check this profile? I could tell you what I did - but it's probably incorrect since I'm here asking for help. Also, do not have scan capability.
Yes, I have CAD & the A datum is the top plane. I measured all the individual features, line, arcs, etc.. Created a feature set to connect them. I changed the surface profile check to line profile, but this didn't help my results much.
Don't need to create features (lines, arcs, etc) just take vector points all around the part. Construct the set and recall profile Form only.
(Of course you level & origin to A prior to).
Ok, took what seemed like 1000 points, but that worked well. Thank you!! Only other question (for now) is why my output graph doesn't connect completely? I even made another feature set starting with a different point to see if that changed anything. It did - put the break in another area. I'm aware this is irrelevant, but just curious as to what I'm doing wrong. Don't have enough space left to upload the attachment here, but still welcome any suggestions! Thank you all again.
