I have a blueprint that has a callout to measure the depth from a specified point on my part (bottom of a specific depth) to a plane(top of the part ) . I am unsure the correct way to measure the part in order to get the correct dimension as well as which type of dimension will give me the correct readout . I need to measure the depth from a specified area of the part to the top of the part.
