I have been asked if it is possible to Calibrate a single probe angle or do I have to run all of the probes in the probe tree in order to maintain the relationship between all the probe assemblies?
If you have a qualification sphere that is in a permanent location then you shouldn't have a problem. If the sphere is removed and can't be put back perfectly in the same location, then you will need to locate the sphere. That's where the Master Probe will come into play.
Depending on your machine and requirements, putting the sphere back 'in the same location' may well qualify as "sphere has moved". The same goes for homing the CMM (which you may have to do after power off/on).
