Assignment Shortcuts and their meanings?

Hi guys!
I've been a CMM Programmer for two years.
There are many things I don't know.
What I want to learn most is the Assignment command.
How do these commands work and what do they mean?
What do the abbreviated names mean?
Can you help me?

    I scanned 45 degrees of the outer circle (not the full circle-see attachments). The probe is in position A90B180. I wonder how I would find the highest point along the Z-axis and the nearest point of the scan along the x-axis? What is the search formula with Assigment? Is there any other solution to find point from scan results?​
