Good day everyone, I have a problem with legacy reporting in that at times when PC-DMIS outputs to PDF the CAD is suddenly zoomed out, making it difficult to read the report i.e leader lines mashed up etc. Does anyone know how this can be fixed?
Hi vpt.se, are you referring to the graphic display window? I wouldn't have thought the graphic display window had an impact on the reporting even after the page has been created, saved and run properly for a while.
If you don't have VIEW/ commands in the program, the report will follow what you see in the GW, so if you have zoomed out for som reason, the next report will show zoomed out.
I see, so even with legacy reporting there must be view commands? We have never had reports with the CAD wildly rotated as it is in the Graphic Display Window, only zoomed out but still in place.
Insert> Report Command> Create viewset and Recall viewset before each dimension. Just make sure that you orient/resize the CAD the way you want it before you create the viewsets
Hi Mike, should the CAD on the report page also change its orientation? When I rotate and make a viewset then recall before the alignment dimension, for example, then open the alignment page, the CAD is still the same orientation as when I first rotated it in the page itself.
I also tried recalling before the page. As far as I understood only custom reports used view sets to determine the CAD orientation in the page. Legacy reports have their own CAD window in the page to set up the view.
