Parents
  • The user has to setup logical name for each orientation on the UCCServer side and nickname for each tip (A,B angle combination) on the PC-DMIS side. It is very laborious.

The idea is that we allow to specify RenishawServer Option bit 5 (32) ToolNameTranslation. When it is set the nickname for T1A0B0 will be used as probe name (alternate dot character - AltDotChar option - can be used for dots in name - for instance TP2020x2#1#20#2 will be translated to TP2020x2.1.20.2 And each angle will be generated by UCC server rules. for instance with previous example for the probe name and angles A 45 and B 90 PC-DMIS will generate TP2020x2.1.20.2.A45.0-B90.0.
