Many of the problems that are being observed after updating are programming/GD&T problems that were masked with XactMeasure's not so strict adherence to metrology standards. Hexagon is now one of the only, if not the only, manufacturer in the metrology industry that is offering CMM inspection that is "fully" compliant to metrology standards (I can speak to ASME at least). The reason for quotation marks is that there are gaps/inconsistencies in the standards, gaps which Hexagon has the liberty to fill in their software as other manufacturers would in theirs.
To the original question: Try Universal Updater. It works for me to download 2020 R2.
