How to Measure Pitch Diameter on Very Large ACME Threads?

Good Morning,

I have 20-30 parts where I have to report out the pitch diameter of the threads for each one. The thread pitch is 9.5583-9.5223, the threads are on the OD, they are clocked and machined in the same position, and its an ACME thread form. I am using a 09.15.08 Global with a contact scanning probe and one of our probes is a star probe if that helps.

Any help/ tips/ ideas on how to measure them would be greatly appreciated.

Center scans with the stylus size the same as the wire size called out by the drawing.

Ill look in to center scans but if I understand what your saying we don't have the correct probe tip for that.
