Hi,
I'm trying to understand where does this issue come from.
We have 2 cmm et we've never had this message on the oldest (almost 3 years old).
Could it be an issue with the head ?
We had a crash but the problem started before the crash.
I also noticed presence of dust iron on the magnets (both head and styli), it was better after cleaning.
But sometimes the head lags (it stands still a few seconds, not reaching the time out but close enough)
When it reaches the time out we're screwed... because the CMM is used on an atomation production line...
Just te let you know that the parameter is called :
MAXOSCTHESHOLD (on a tigo SF with a HPSX-1C head )
The default value was too small I had to increase it to avoid the
weight balance routine timed out error message. I've been using the same setting for months now and the error is long gone!
