Moving Cal Sphere for Sp25 Star Probe - Correlation Issue

Good morning:

PCDMIS 2019 R1
SP25M

I run a calibration program for all tips and angles each week (12 station MCR Rack)

I've added an L- Shaped star probe which requires me to move my cal sphere to -1,0,0 (X Minus) to probe the underside of the sphere.

I relocate the sphere with the Master Probe and angle that was used to locate the sphere (Theo 0,0,0) to find the new sphere location.

Then I calibrate the star probe.

AFTER this I am have correlation issues between the Master Probe and other probes on the rack.

What am I doing wrong?

I did an experiment:

I measured a ring gage with the Master Probe and aligned / leveled to it.

Then measured the same ring gage in the same spot with a different probe on the rack.

Then located new sphere with master probe, cal'd star probe.

Then I remeasured the xyzd of the ring gage with the probe used previously. I see almost .001" in change in X and Y.

Thanks!
