But, If I import the model and relocate the cad model any significant distance using the F5 Part/Machine tab, such as graphically locating the CAD in a machine model, or centering the CAD in the theoretical machine extents, basically screw with the models location at all using F5... It completely breaks the Paste with Pattern Curve function
Rather than the patterned features following the model edges they are supposed to do, They go ALL OVER THE PLACE! Inside the cad, outside the cad, inside the machine volume, outside the machine volume, some points will be by themselves in space, some points will group together, all in a pseudo random association with each other. Features will be multiple FEET away from the cad models. It seems to get worse with the more adjacent curves I select. If I move the model back to 0,0,0 in machine coordinates, function seems to begins to act correctly again, this is maddening when I have written an entire program with the cad located where it is.
Has anybody else seen this behavior? Can anybody else replicate this? PC-DMIS 2021.2 SP1, STEP models from Solidworks, B&S "ONE" 7.7.5, PH10T W/ TP20.
