datapage...

Greetings,

we loaded 2021.2 and are now having datapage issues.

1. it is saving to the C drive of the different machines and i need it to got to the common drive so my engineer can access the data remotely

2. it is saving in two different formats on different machines despite having the same box checked (PC-DMIS STATS and .XML)

what i want is to aggregate program results in excel (or friendly) format for my engineer.

thoughts?

I use Datapage. But I don't use the new Datapage. I still use the old Datapage RT.

oh im sure this is the old datapage... we dont upgrade anything unless we have to...

or is datapage attached to the version of pcdmis installed?

are you saving to the C drive? if so, how are you pushing data to remote workstations? can it be set to auto push data to a common drive destination?

Unless you have Datapage RT on a WinXP box (or older) then you don't have Datapge RT. That is how old it is. The editor is 8-bit software and won't run on anything newer.

thats what im looking for!!

i dont cre how old it is as long as it works.

i have 5 machines. they all have datapage saving to the C drive.

i have two remote workstations with datapage privileges: 1 with the engineers, and 1 with me in the gage lab.

how do i get it to export Excel friendly data to a common drive?

i'm dying here...

can't help ya there, Datapage+ isn't in my wheelhouse. But, with Datapage RT I have each and every program saving to TWO databases, 1 includes all the parts we check and 1 is specific to just that part. FLAWLESSLY! And this is from 2 different machines to 'common' databases, so no matter what machine I run on, all the data is there, from either machine.
