I am rerunning a DCC job on my
Global S 7.10.7 CMM.
The job was originally programmed for an older
1612CHN.
I changed the
movespeed in the PCDMIS program from 80 to 100.
I changed the
acceleration of x,y,z from 50 to 2500.
This did not really help make the machine go must faster as I am calibrating right now and its taking forever.
What are all the variables that play into the speed/efficiency of a program? And if anyone has experience on a 7.10.7, what should I change those values to?
And FASTPROBE. You can turn it off n on as needed and it will reduce your program run time. Parts I'm working on now have gone from 10:34 to 9:01 by eliminating garbage move points and running FASTPROBE (tightest tolerances are 0.05mm TP and profiles at 0.250mm).
