PC Dmis is a new thing for me, and I have a question about how to use a Hexagon Explorer with PC Dmis 2021 and Blade and Blade runner to inspect steam turbine blades.
The Hexagon engineer told me before I use the Blade Runner to scan the airfoil I should shut down the PC Dmis.
I am confused about this, does that mean I can't inspect the blade root dimensions and scanning airfoil at one program? Does that mean I should crate 2 separate measurement program, one for alignment and inspecting root dimensions the other for Blade Runner scanning airfoil?
Blade isn't really a utility that you learn from asking questions in a forum. Blade runner is a visual basic front end that executes programs and handles data to Blade. This requires that you have specialized programs and yes, most of the time you will need programs for the alignments, and the airfoil scans. You're really going to need to be trained by a professional to use it though.
