I have to get a positional location (-A-|-B-|-C-) off a .028 diameter hole. The smallest probe (stylus) we have is .020 (.5mm)..... and of course thats , in theory, a clearance of .004 per side/radii... This does not seem to be working , because of the clearance. Does anyone know of a smaller stylus or a better way of inspecting? You know... with GD&T.... three datums.... if I use a micro-hite I am checking in two axis'. Ugh.... GD&T. Any help/ideas will be appreciated! Thanks
What probing head do you have, Double check your documentation for it to be sure it can handle a .3mm probe. If this part is a small plate use vision..?
