Good morning, I got a new computer for the CMM and after installing PCDMIS i got this error, Error in connect=0. There is no communication between the machine and the controller.
Network cable is plugged in? You did a "Restore Settings" from the old PC?
"Everything is the same as before" You have a checklist of the settings for the machine interface setup and your network adaptor is setup properly? Is the Speed and Duplex for the network card set properly? If it is set to "Auto Negotiate" it will not work.
The network cable is plugged in. just wondering if there is procedures or tech sheet i can follow to make sure everything is ok since I'm not familiar with some and would like to do it right to avoid any troubles in the future.
I would contact Tech Support, they could give you that information. They can remote in and get it running and explain what needs to be done when you migrate to a new PC.
