I need to create a theoretical plane that rests across the top of 4 diameters. picture four spokes on a propeller... the plane will rest on the radius of the blade edges closest to you.
i can probe the leading 4 edge radius of the propeller and create 4 diameters.
Create a feature set with all hits*, and then create a tangent plane from it (deppends on the version ,it can be called "primary datum)

The constructed primary datum plane used to be called "tangent plane". I assume the name was changed to show this is typically what you would want for a primary datum plane, if you were trying to reproduce a DRF and a primary datum plane, such as for Legacy dimensioning
