I have a part with Cone & Half Sphere on the same axis. The requirement is to extract intersected diameter with Cone & Sphere. While I am trying to construct a circle using these two features with intersection option, PC DMIS displaying math errors. Tried different ways but not succeeded.
Is there any way, we can directly extract intersected circle using Cone & Sphere in PC DMIS?
Go into the constructed circle dialog, select your cone from the feature list and choose the "cone" option from the "method" drop-down. From the type drop-down, choose "sphere" and then enter the theoretical diameter of the sphere in the "value box". This will construct a circle at the position where the sphere would contact the cylinder. If you need to use an actual measured size for your sphere, you can assign it to a variable and then replace the diameter value with your variable in the edit window command.
