Masking datum position in xact measure V2016

I don't want the datum position to show on the report confusing the operators.
How do I turn it off?

  • Manufacturing had me remove the datum shift from the report to stop the confusion with the operators.
We report the position of 2 autofeature circles to know where the hole is when the tool enters and when it reaches the finish depth.
With datum shift on, the Z shift makes absolutely no sense.
  • PC-DMIS is translating along the axis of D until it minimizes the error in Y, which may make more sense that it's bad for the "bottom" circle (not that it should ever shift OOT, but Xact has done this before).

How far apart are the two circles in Z?

What does the parallelism of the RACK cylinder to A look like?

What does the position of the RACK cylinder to [A|D] look like?

What does the position of the RACK cylinder to [A|D(M)] look like?
