#7.1 Josh G commented Today, 11:54 AM I'm new to programming and just trying to get it right, just trying to learn. That is what I was going to do, but I don't have a lot of time to get this done. I was asking for advice, not some stupid comment like I'm supposed to know everything...
First before doing PC-DMIS you should know GD&T or you would realize, it's not a stupid comment, I did not condemn you for checking the number, If you had taken basic GD&T you would know this is not necessary to check. Second I noted to you that if you are going to check it. Read the blueprint completely, don't just pick and choose what you think is important, Everything is Important. If it is not important they will say it in the notes, or they will put these nice little symbols around them ( ) . You said your new, and I'm here helping you for free, and your getting your feelings hurt for what ever reason. If you don't like the information given then I'll note it not to help you.
At our shop we have to do a PPAP before running the part and every number has to be recorded. I was simply trying to get 91.5 degrees so I could record it. I know what a reference number is. I am trying to check everything I can with the CMM and get as close as I can to the dimension.
