Hello All,
I created a new probe from the custom probe builder, but when I try to calibrate it, it says I'm out of memory. Has anyone ever encountered this before - and if so how did you correct it? My computer still has 15.6 GB of usable RAM. I'm clearly doing something wrong. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what that is - or point me in the right direction. Thanks.
When you created a new probe in the probe builder how did you save the probe file?
I see this all the time where people try to save it to the tool.dat file corrupting it causing PC-DMIS to throw an out of memory error every time you open the calibration window.

Peter - Where do you save custom probe files. The last time I tried (long time ago) I couldn't find where they were supposed to go. The help was a bit vague.
You need to save the file as a USRPROBE.DAT then this file is placed in the C:\ProgramData\Hexagon\PC-DMIS\(pc-dmis version you want the custom probe) folder.
