Is PC-DMIS typically forward compatible?

For example, can you run PC-DMIS 2021 on Windows 11?

I found this: "PC-DMIS 2021.1 operates under 64-bit Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, and Windows Vista. No other operating systems are supported." which was written Mar-14-2022

Our IT is requiring us to update to Windows 11, but I really don't want to update PC-DMIS...

  • newest version is supported in WIN11, not sure about 2021, but it does NOT support RDS drivers in Win11

    The newest version will require program conversion to the new style of reporting. Yeah, I wouldn't want to update either.

    Thanks for the speedy response Matthew and the (unfortunate) information on the new style of reporting. I am kind of in a pickle here (it's time sensitive).

    I found a thread on this forum of someone saying they are running 2014 on Windows 10...so that's showing me that PC-DMIS has been forward compatible historically...?

    Do you expect PC-DMIS to be forward compatible in the future? Lets say I update to PC-DMIS 2022 and stick with that version. When there's several new versions of Windows in the future (lets say Windows 14), do you think we would still be able to run PC-DMIS 2022 on Windows 14? Sorry I know I am pushing you to make an assumption here...
