Depth of 45 counterbores

Hello everyone,
I have 4 counterbores as shown in the picture called out in the drawing. How do I measure their depths?
What I think is:
1. Measure the plane (probe 3 points) on the top of the counterbore
2. Measure cyclinder 1 with diameter = 0.2
3. Measure cylinder 2 with diameter = 0.44
4. Create a circle that is intersected by 2 cylinders.
5. Distance from this circle to plan Home will be the depth 0.37
Is it correct? And do I repeat this process 4 times? I also have the other callout which has >50 counterbores, are there any better methods?
Thank you in advance!

  • Technicaly yes cylinders are the way to go but thats a judgement only you can make..As the hole is 0.2 and the c/bore is 0.44 this means the c/bore face is 0.12 wide 3.048mm this gives enough room to programme a hit away from the edge of the hole and not hit the side of the c/bore. I would aim ar positioning the hit point at 0.130 from the centre of the hole.
