New Summary Mode and Custom Reports

My company has recently upgraded from the 2017 version of PCDMIS to version 2022.1 SP4, now this has been a pain free update as far as I can tell, that was until I started trying to create a new custom report

Previously when using a custom report, you could use summary mode to scroll through your program pick a specific tolerance command open a drop-down menu and then drag and drop each individual part of the command into the report whether that be the nominal, the tolerances, the measured value, etc. (See Below)

however, on the 2022.1 version (I don't believe this change occurred in this exact version, but it is my first-time crossing paths with it) summary mode has undergone a drastic change and the tolerance commands no longer seem to have the drop down that would allow me to drag the individual aspects of the command into my GridControlObject.

what is the work around for this issue? do I have to change my approach for how to do this now? as I can't seem to find anything to suggest how to do it.

Or alternatively is there a way to make the new summary mode behave the same as the old one once did?

  • All your old programs should still work you just can't edit the custom reports the way you used to in your older version. I would suggest getting the programs and reports the way you want them in the old version (where you can drag and drop all the pulldown list in summary mode to the custom report). Then put them onto the CMM with the 2022 version, they will still work ok for you.
