When doing an alignment in the CMM, it is very straightforward and does just like you tell it to do.
This however, isn't the case in portable. Here it can flip your alignment 180° because of some relation to the equipment (the arm).
But, a best-fit alignment handles this without problems. So, while the manual alignment does not solve correctly, the best-fit will.
Which is strange, because if the best-fit can solve it, how come the manual can't?
I am asking the devs here if it is possible to get the portable version to act like the CMM version, meaning that the manual
alignment will solve just as easily on the portable as the CMM version? This is as of now, impossible. Can it be done?
Is there a setting I can change to allow for this?
