We just replaced an older Global Image 555 with a new Global S Blue 555. Due to the license I have available I could only move up to PC-Dmis 2015.0 from V43 MR1. I am having issues with circle and line measurements gauging inaccurately. The circular measurements are gauging 15 to 20 microns differently than other CMMs in our plant. The one line measurement is gauging about 800 microns different. I haven't been able to find any mechanical issues with the CMM. I have replaced all of the probing components to no avail. Could this possibly be an issue caused by moving to the newer version of PC-Dmis?
'NEW' machine. If it were a new machine, it should have come with a license that is 100% up to date.
If this is a machine you bought used (but new to you), did it get a full calibration once installed? As in, FULL calibration, linear, ball-bar, new table-map, etc.
B89 ONLY does squareness of the machine. It does not do linear accuracy. No linear accuracy 'certification' then things like size, distance, roundness, and and position (location) are all out the window!
