More of a what the heck were they thinking question

Hello all,
in the "what the heck?!" GD&T category

Datum B is an ID
Datum E is an OD

They are concentric.

Any ideas on what the engineer might actually be looking for?

  • Update:

So Datum A is a plane that should be perpendicular to both B & E. There is another callout for perpendicularity of B to A.

I believe now that they meant for the graphic to include was perpendicularity of -E- to -A-

So in both cases I took two circles, created a line between the two and then did a perpendicularity callout from each line to Datum -A-

(this machine doesn't use PC-DMIS it is a Mitutoyo Crysta Apex-C Hybrid running CMM Manager)

    Measure -E- as autocylinder...Measure -A- as autoplane...dimension accordingly Sunglasses
