I have a part. Imagine a 1" thick disk 3" OD the diameter is actually a cone, so top of disc is 3" and bottom of disc is 2.5" just to get an idea of the draft profile. The top of the disc isn't a sharp point to the top surface but has a continuous radius around the OD. How should I measure the OD of the radius, which is the OD of the part on the print?
Maybe a caliper or micrometer depending on tolerances. Or if you have a scanning probe "maxindex" will be your friend here...if I'm understanding your situation correctly.
