  • I have never seen that model. Does it lock and unlock? Mechanical, air,? Or is it like a safe lock where you just turn it and it clicks from angle to angle?
  • Its mechanical/manual. You have to squeeze some buttons, manually rotate and it locks in place. I actually accidentally fixed it. Hexagon asked me to get the serial number from the head and I was looking for it, I noticed the rubber sleeve was twisted around the head. I untwisted it and it locked in place. I appears the rubber sleeve was twisted over the buttons essentially squeezing them like a hand which made the head loose. Once I fixed the sleeve it locked in place. I calibrated some probes and got good results. I kind of feel silly but we are back up and running.

never feel silly in this trade. But I was thinking it had to do with how it locks and something clicking into place/

Now ya gotta figure out how the rubber sleeve got twisted.
