I seem to be running into a problem with my 2way and 4way checks inside my programs. All of a sudden 2 fixtures in a row are showing an offset on my 4way and 2way 0.5mm in the same direction.
For Example I pick up the tooling balls come back check 2 way and 4way and both fixtures show they are out 0.5 mm in same direction (Machine axis). Does this make any sense ? could it be a bent probe that could be causing this issue ? I'm not sure whats going on here.
Hi, my conclusion is that my calibration seems good and that there is somehow an offset in the program. I was able to Calibrate with a master, and verify with a bunch of other angles I was good. So it has to be the program so now i'm working through that.
Say if i were to reduce the Extensions to 60mm, after everything is already programmed to 120mm extensions id have a pretty good chance of whacking it right. I would likely have to reprogram no ?
Well I put up another fixture this morning, 4way is out .4 in the same direction again.. about to pull my hair out (What I have left). When I started at the company I noticed the PH9 was misaligned to the machine (Was missing the Cal Sphere when trying to Calibrate) so I rotated it back square. Could this have something to do with the deviations I am seeing ? I am seeing deviations in the Machine X axis. We are getting ready for PPAP submissions and this issue needs to be resolved
