Hello everybody ,
I tried the PcDmis 2023.1 preview, but it doesn't connect to any control, neither the Leitz control nor the FDC control. I try to change fdc.dll to interface.dll but it doesn't work, I try to change leitz.dll to interface.dll but it doesn't work. It always loads only the Offline interface. But this preview works only in Offline????
The .dat files should now get saved on a "per-device" basis. Say, for example, you are working purely offline and have everything set up for stationary CMM and then you change your environment to a RDS portable arm. When you switch to portable, we save the existing .dat file settings in a "PcDmisCmmDefault_DatFiles" folder (in the Local AppData folder for the version you are using) and then activate the default .dat files for the device you selected. In the case of an RDS portable arm, this would entail activating the large icons and toolbars and removing any DCC functionality from the menus. If you make changes to the user layout or if you subsequently select a different device, again, we save the settings (in their device specific folder) before activating the new configuration. This means that you will now be able to switch between devices and each one should restore its relevant configuration. Previously, switching from CMM to portable and back again required you to manually restore the dat files or to perform a "reset user" via the settings editor.
