I've switch from 2016 PC-DMIS to 2019, and the icons are ugly, they are just black and blue. I can barely tell the difference between 'em unless I REALLY look at em.
Is it possible to switch those icons to the older ones? Without rolling back to an older version?
Or am I gonna have to learn these new icons sadly?
yer screwed basically. yeah, no one can get an answer from 'them' about WHY they have to keep changing the icons. my guess is 'job security' for someone.
Been complaining about them ever since they came out. Still have trouble distinguishing between them. They just blend together in one bland mess. Corporate branding shouldn't get in the way of the user experience.
various shades of the same color vs ONLY 2 color? Both are garbage. Even if they stick to 8-bit colors, there are 16,777,216 different colors. and the icons can be multiple colors, and the 'groups' can have a common theme, you know, they way it used to be. Can't add images to a 'comment' here, but I will get the pix of icons that they used to have that stood out by 'type' and the multiple colors that stand out individually.
^^^ this. The old school color 'groups' were fine. The 'new' icons they decided to foist upon us were just to cow-tow to millennials. Just IMNSHO by a grumpy old Demon user.
