I want to report the .085 and .156 dims. Right now I measured the chamfer as a cone and constructed a circle between that cone and the plane of the flange. Also constructed a circle between the cone and the plane in the groove. I know that to get my final dimension what I need is to take the constructed circle Ø, subtract the Ø2.500 measurement and divide that result by 2. Is there a way to report that?
Yep. I just ran another part and it opened a dialog box. I just hit create and it filled in the measured value with the variable automatically. I am the online person using this machine so its fine but if I had an operator wouldnt do it this way.
