Hi guys
so i have this simple check program of a guage ring where i measure it with mastertip, align to it and then measure it with all the other tips in my rack.
so the other day i noticed all the tips following mastertip had a deviation of 0.01mm in Y.
so i thought maybe someone had crashed the tip and then i re calibrated all my tips.
I ran the check program again and the results were the same!
the roundness of the ring is a few microns, so no shaft hits
and the calibration results were good too, between 0.001 - 0.002 std
no, that's NOT how it is supposed to work. if you move the ball, you are only supposed to have to re-locate it with the master tip, all others are supposed to still relate to the master tip.
