Once a program has been saved in a newer version, it will not run in an older version, and with the new tolerance, you can not even save-back a level and get back what you had. As for using different versions of Pcdmis, I have several installed, and can use any of them. BUT, once saved in a newer version, it has to be saved-back to an older version to use it in that version (and back-save can cause LOTS of problems, even without the new tolerance setup).
Best bet is to save backup copies of the programs before you open them in a new version. Then you can go back without issue.
Hexagon wrote a app that will open all your programs, evaluate them, and put them in two folders. One successful upgrade, one failed upgrade.
I presume it leaves the original file alone.
Version 2022 and newer only... I think?
Ask for that and how to use it.
If you don't have an offline seat, they will give you a temporary one to do the conversion.
Then you'd know which programs work and don't, so you can run them in the old version until you get time to update them.
