All my Feature ID labels in the graphic window are colored. Some are red, some are yellow, some are purple. I cannot read some of them and am trying to get them back to the default black color. I am at a loss.
I have done this before but forgotten already. Any ideas how to get rid of the rainbow colored ID's?
Man I am really struggling to find anything like that in any of the menus.
I remember having a real tough time with this one before.
So far I have tried looking though :
Edit Feature Appearance. Feature color is set to black. No change on the label colors
Right click label and click "change appearance" - No options help
Looked through the F5 settings - I see nothing regarding "use deviation colors for feature"
Edit Dimension Colors - Nothing I have tried here works....although I seem to remember this dialogue box may have been the ticket in the past.
Im using 2021 . Attached is picture of my issue......Who in the heck would turn this crap on.
F5 ~ DIMENSION TAB ~ (output options) ~ FEATURES USE DIMENSION COLORS.
If it is marked, then the color matches the dimension colors you are using. Personally, I use 2 colors, green=in, red=out and the labels use those colors, but the values should be black on white, not matter in or out, just the bar should change color (border is black).
Thanks, that kind of worked. Initially turning on that checkbox made all my labels white with no visible text. I went to "dimension colors" and recalled so that the original color scale is back. That didn't change the labels though....still all white with no text. So next, I made them transparent, and added a shadow so I could see the text. The text is white now I guess. I tried changing the font to black in the graphic display font menu and its already set to black. This is maddening.
