GPU 100% Use

Hello here,

I have an issue with PCDMIS and my computer.

Whenever I open or close a program the GPU goes to 100% use for 5/10 second. In this time I cannot do anythings and I have to wait.

Did anyone ever experience this ? Is there any solution

I work on PCDMIS CAO 2021.1 SP11. All of the drivers are updated.
And this my PC :

- Windows 10 Pro

- GPU : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1220 v5 @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz
- RAM : 8 Go
- Graphic card : NVIDIA Quadro P400

I seen a problem almost identical to what you described. It was related to the Hexagon SFx asset services I believe. I didn't fix it as I did not know if this would break something else that this customer had setup but I did peak around seeing what it was doing and why it was crazy-slow and crash-happy. Maybe this feature is something you have looked at in the past and this is the result (?). My work around was to use another version of PC-DMIS installed on that computer which didn't have the SFx asset management services setup.

If you are not familiar the SFx asset services allows a variety of information from your machine to be sent to a third party (Hexagon in this case) so it can be accessed by a phone or whatever. It is a silly idea in my opinion.

Windows 10 with an Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-9700 CPU @ 3.00GHz with 16 GB of ram and my GPU doesn't even flinch when I open or close programs.

Thanks for your answers. I downloaded and installed PCDMIS 2022.2 SP3 and I no longer have the problem.
