I program offline. I have an issue that when I open my programs on the cmm's, my clearplanes and movepoints change, sometimes by many inches! I've actually had it occur on existing programs we've run a hundred times. Has anyone else experienced this? It's a pretty regular occurrence for us.
I have seen this issue as well. I never associated it with opening a program offline but rather after an alignment change I have never seen a move point change by inches but I have had move points change on me and all the other points were translated correctly
Correct. Any alignment change will/can affect move points and clearplanes drastically, especially if the alignment is not done well. I have never had an issue where the move points and clearplanes are completely different just by opening up a program, but only when partial executions take place and/or features are changed that affect alignments and the incorrect option is chosen.
If programs are changing just by opening them, then I would dig into the issues above to see if those have happened, otherwise it is some sort of permissions issue.
