MINMAX Reporting issue while used with Surface Profile...

Hello Fellow PCD Users,

We have an issue while reporting a surface profile using MINMAX for formatting. During offline simulation the report looks correct and shows the surface profile correctly with a MIN/MAX in the report, but when run on the CMM the report shows the surface profile as a typical +/- TOL. See below.

How it should look in the report...

But it seems as if it reports like this.

Is there a setting on the CMM in the PC-DMIS software that would cause this? This only seems to effect two part numbers out of about 12. Normally we wouldn't worry that much about this but it is messing with our automatic data collection and analysis. Even our PCD Guru is stumped.

We are using PC-DMIS 2018R1
(Soon to be 2022R1)

  • Switch views from command to summary and see if you have a Dimension format line above FCFPROF65 that somehow isn't showing in the command view. I've had this happen a few times before when some settings get copy/paste and somehow get hidden from the command view.

It could also be mysteriously pulling the default. Hit F10 then check the boxes you want in the order you want them then hit default.
