I am trying to create a circle where this cone intersects the top plane. Both features are autofeatures. I went to construct circle intersect and selected my features and I get math failed? see attachment
Is your current workplane Z axis?
Did you select the cone CON1 and the plane PLN7? Try reversing the order of the features you select (PLN7 & CON1)
Math failed errors generally occur when they don't actually intersect.
--So is it possible your actual probed hits are biased or off by a lot, preventing the cone angle from being correct, or the plane from entirely intersecting the cone?
