I construct a sphere from 2 basic circle scans. It's an outter sphere (LS / BFRE).
PC-DMIS find an inner sphere, so It ask me if I want to accept the change.
I can answer Yes or NO, PC-DMIS construct the inner, so I have to change in the edit window
Latest versions have too many annoying bugs. That's why we're sticking to 2016 CAD one because it's been rock solid for years. Screw Hexagon & their licensing games.
Funny thing is both Zeiss & Mitu calculate things like Legacy mode does in PC DMIS. We had customers with both & using Xact made our numbers & theirs incompatible until we did our programs in legacy. Do their techniques comply with Y14.5-2018 then? I don't think so. And Zeiss has got big contracts with DoD to measure missile parts not Hexagon.
