Image Saved Location

Good morning. I have a request from a customer to send my CMM inspection program so they could try it there. I have never sent a program outside of the company and I have a few questions. The program has "set up" images in it and these images are saved on our inspection drive. If I send this program will the pictures be viewable on their end? Also, will the cad model stay with the program? The model is also saved to the inspection drive. Thanks for any help.

  • The images, unless they are saved IN the program, will not go. The CAD file will not go, unless you include it with the PRG file. Also, many spam filters will NOT allow PRG files in emails, so you will need to zip them up (PRG & CAD) to send them

Thanks for the reply. How would I go about saving images in the program? Maybe I'm already doing that. I was thinking I could take a picture, insert it into the program and then delete the picture from stored folder and see if it is still there.
