Image Saved Location

Good morning. I have a request from a customer to send my CMM inspection program so they could try it there. I have never sent a program outside of the company and I have a few questions. The program has "set up" images in it and these images are saved on our inspection drive. If I send this program will the pictures be viewable on their end? Also, will the cad model stay with the program? The model is also saved to the inspection drive. Thanks for any help.

  • Thanks, that's how my images are in the program, through the operator comment. I might be okay after all.

Images put into operator comments will be fine.

My programs have proprietary locations for internal data collection which I remove from the programming if I need to send the customer our program. This includes start/runtime logs, stat sends, forms, File I/O commands, PDF locations, internal programmer notes, etc. I only send them what is absolutely necessary, this would include setup pictures, the program, and potentially probe build information.
