Utterly confused by this print, I'm guessing they want a runout of 0.008 between the major of the spline and the stock shaft OD but is this called out correctly? Thanks
I would say it's the runout of the spline pitch diameter to Datum A. If they are turning a blank and then creating the splines from the blank, then if you check the spline Major diameter you are checking the turning to itself, if that makes sense.
