Linear scan taking corners a bit rough.

How do I avoid the below situation of a scan? I know I can turn them to points and have clearance moves around the problem prone ones, but that method hurts my eyes and my patience.

I could also adjust prehit and retract, but the time would slow down a bit for the scan.

Any pro tips?

  • Unless there's a note that states to ignore those radii, they are an important part of the profile and should be included in the scan. Sometimes, you can adjust the increment or shift your start and stop so that a point falls on those radii, but if the distances don't add up, you can break into multiple scans to specifically start/stop on each consecutive radius.
