Curious as to how people are reaching the underside of large parts?
I have some fixtures to measure that over 1m in diameter, whilst I have parallels to set them on, I am concerned the part will sag in between where they are placed, and placing more parallels in there just restrict access, I don’t have a way of standing the fixture on side!
Anyone got any suggestions?
All of our parts are supported on 1" tall standoffs. I built a one-armed star probe with a 4x50 carbon fiber tip. Probe angles are A0B-180 to A0B180, every 45 degrees of B rotation. At A0B0 the probe points +Y (#3 Star position).
