So I realized I've been doing MMC on a slot (using legacy) wrong for a few months...lol...
Here's what I have been doing:
Probing planes on each side of the slot,
Creating a width using the 2 planes,
Constructing a circle using "Auto" (so it becomes a Cast circle...)
Then dimensioning the position of the circle in the relevant axis using MMC: inputting the slot tolerances into the diameter size in the dimension.
I forget how to do it correctly. Generic circle, right? I wonder how messed up my results have been. A quick test shows only a few tenths difference between the methods. Any input? Should I fix all of these mistakes?
Just make sure to set your generic circles correctly to internal or external (whichever needed) to calculate the MMC / LMC bonus correctly. It's easy to make that mistake as well
