So we are about to upgrade to 2023. When I do that will I loose all my probe files and tool rack files? They are stored on the hard drive of each machine.
Check your search paths for the probe files - from the Home Page: EDIT>Set Search Path Probe Directory. The tool rack files are stored in the program data folder for whichever version you were previously running. They would normally be automatically copied over from the old version to the new one during the install (assuming you're installing the new version on the same PC).
If you've changed PC, the ReadMe has a list of all the files that need to be copied over from the old PC - the files and their locations vary depending on what machine you have.
